Hi there.
We're told to chase our dreams. To never give up. To keep pushing.
But have you ever quit your dream?
"Why would I do that?" you might ask. Maybe you shouldn't. But… are you sure it's actually your dream?
Try to remember when you started dreaming about it. And why.
Were you trying to prove something? Did you believe this one thing would finally make you happy?
Here's the question: What if there's nothing left to prove? Would that dream still exist?
Does it give you energy… or does it quietly drain you? Does it open something new… or keep you waiting at the same door, year after year?
I asked myself this a few years ago.
I used to make music. Spent years on it. Put it out there, felt that little spark when someone noticed. But somewhere along the way, I realized I was holding onto the idea of being a musician more than actually being one. I wanted to want it. But I didn't. There's a difference.
Sometimes your dream becomes a cage. And the bravest thing you can do? Open the door and walk out into the air.
You don't have to follow one dream your entire life. You're allowed to change. The artist can become the engineer. The writer can become the builder. That doesn't have to be failure.
Maybe you needed to read this.
Maybe you're already standing at that open door.
See what happens.
